Great food and service! Pricey but worth it! Treat yourself!

Wonderful restaurant in Center City Downtown DC. Great space and great menu. I could eat those cheesesteak egg rolls all day. 🔥 Both the lemon cake and the butter cake were delicious. Customer service was phenomenal.

Celebrated my stepdaughter's birthday. The food was *delicious*. Great atmosphere. Great location. Our server, Wayne, was very professional and pleasant. We enjoyed everything.

Accompanied with AMAZING service😍First time at Del Frisco's and definitely not my last😍 Week chose to celebrate our 11year anniversary with these guys as we have heard nothing but great things about them! Valet service 😊 Beautiful floor to ceiling windows ( 2 floors as well) at every turn giving us an amazing view of the city! Our waiter was friendly and professional😊 We really enjoyed ourselves!! So much,that we are bringing our best friends for lunch😊😊

The food was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! I totally enjoyed my Christmas dinner/meal. The steak & cheese egg rolls (appetizer) were superb and I completely fell in love with the Butter Cake (dessert). I will DEFINITELY return to try more items off of their menu! The only things that weren't so great was the hostess who wore her "humbug" santa hat and did a good job emulating a scrooge-like character. Unfortunately, she was not very pleasant or easy to deal with when we checked-in for our reservation. The ladies (rest)room is beautiful but if you have poor eyesight, then it'll be difficult to navigate yourself in there because the lighting is very, VERY dim. Also, washing one's hands with ice-cold water is NEVER fun. Before heading out, my party and I mentioned the above to the manager and he completely understood.

Ok, I've been to Del Frisco's Grill a few times. Yesterday, I had lunch at the big brother, Double Eagle. My appetizer, Lobster Bisque. Nice pieces of lobster, but cooked a little long for my taste; approaching roux territory. Entree, 12 oz Ribeye, medium-well. Normally I would order it medium, but the waiter described their idea of medium as "slight pink in the middle and red throughout". Not enough salt & pepper before cooking. For the price I expected much better. I've had much better at other places for less money. Actually, I had a better steak and overall meal at Del Frisco's Grill. Double Eagle is in City Center, so there are a lot of high-end shops. The space is nice, but that's all you're paying for. The food bar definitely needs to be raised.

Everything was superb. I expected the steak to be good, but never expected to be wowed by the sides as well. Who knew you could make creamed corn or the mushrooms and pearl onions taste so good.

A colleague and I celebrated 11 and-a-half years of work at a nearby courthouse! It was the best choice we could have ever made! Food was absolutely delicious and the desserts were divine!! Make sure you ask for the BUTTER CAKE!!!😋 The Strawberry cheesecake was scrumptious!!! Will be returning!!! Del Frisco's you have made my list of all-time favorite restaurants!!

Waiter was kind , but was M.I.A quite a few times. Lobster Mac & Cheese was very good. Now the infamous butter cake was a very heavy and sweet dessert, it reminded me of a very hurried cake made with very little effort. I personally did not care for it.

On Saturday, Aug 17, 2019 i visited this place and my first intention was actually to look for a brunch but since their restaurant week menu was tempting so i decided to eat here. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy especially the bar. Here’s what i ordered: i picked lobster bisque to start and it was delicious. For second course, i had filet mignon with mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked (medium rare). It was tasty and juicy. I had Belgian chocolate mousse for dessert and i loved it. BTW my Tito’s mule was perfect as well. Let’s talk about the service. My waiter, Xavier, was pretty attentive and friendly. I also need to give credit to the female manager (sorry i forgot her name) who approached my table and asked whether everything alright or no which i thought was very nice of her. Everything was excellent in this restaurant. I wish i could give more than 5 stars.

Good food, beautiful place. Unfortunately our waitress looked like she was having a bad day and disappeared halfway through the meal. Had to search for her just to get the check and to pay.

Expertly prepared in all aspects. Order included starting with the bacon au poirve and crab cakes, moving onto the Australian wagyu longbone ribeye (Daniel, our waiter, comp'd an order of bacon brussel sprouts for literally no reason!!) And finished with strawberry cheesecake. Drinks were the strongest mai tai I've ever had, and a delicious bottle of wine. For dessert the cheesecake was paired with a glass of scotch and a glass of don Julio 1942 filled to the brim!!

I took my wife here for her Birthday at lunchtime yesterday, from the time we arrived till the time we left our experience was Great!! Starting with the hostess Ashauntè she was warm and kind very attentive to us. As was our waiter, Miguel he always made sure we were Happy, even getting every crumb off our table cloth. And then there was Mac the manager, he personally made me another drink to make sure I liked it. Yes, it's Expensive, but well worth it for a once or twice a year Special Occasion. Tried this location out for the first time on Valentine’s Day this year. The flavor is really good. The initial service that we had was not that great. He was in intensive and it took him over 10 minutes to bring us two glasses of wine. We ended up getting another server Ares (we called him Cupid lol). Great! He was funny charismatic and gave great service. He checked on us and even engaged in conversation with us. I have no complaints.

We had an amazing time, our server I think her name was Dean was amazing. She remembered our names and was always smiling and joking. Shut her customer service skills needs to be bottled and shared with the DC area especially Milk and Honey on H st. Thank you for making my wife born day weekend amazing. Keep your amazing spirit girl..Yall keep cooking that food. Cause I have no complaint. It was my first time but not my last ❤❤❤

Lunch was thoroughly disappointing. The salmon was so salted it was inedible and the replacement was overcooked. My guest’s steak was also overcooked and too salty.

Very enjoyable, the service was very good and the food was delicious. Would recommend to someone with a large wallet and a love for fine dining.

Food was DELICIOUS for New Year’s Day. Hadn’t ever been here before. The butter cake is to die for and ours was on the house, as Hubby and I were celebrating an occasion. Service left some to be desired however for this level of restaurant, hence 4 vs. 5 stars. Croutons came on my salad when I had asked for none and waitress forgot my husband’s bar drink. Otherwise though, she was very friendly. We got the tomahawk Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!

I had an extraordinary at this place. We loved the first-rate atmosphere and the menu. The staff members are very attentive. I am happy we ultimately managed to visit here.

Delicious food and attentive wait staff. Boyfriend brought me here saying it’s his favorite steakhouse in DC. Surrounded by high end shops, or def felt like a place to be for those in the know. I would recommend as a high-end casual date night or wanting to catch up with ya girls.

I took my friend here for his birthday and it did not disappoint. We ordered two of their specialty drinks which were both amazing and started with calamari which had a nice spicy glaze. My buddy had questions about their Wagyu meats and our server went above and beyond in answering all his questions and just being attentive in general. We ordered 3oz of the Japanese a5 before diving into the 32oz long bone ribeye (also wagyu but from Texas so not pure wagyu like the Japanese cut). We had the a5 cooked to chef recommendations and went medium rare for the ribeye. Both were excellent though I could have been fine with something between medium rare and medium on the 32oz cut. My friend loved it the way it was so, different palates. For sides, we got the creamed corn and onion rings. While both were great, the corn was down right amazing. We ended the experience with 10 year old ports to go with a lemon cake and their butter cake.. wow, cant go wrong with either.

I always have the best time at Del Frisco's. The atmosphere is wonderful, the servers are so friendly and knowledgeable, the drinks are so tasty with the right amount of liquor, and the food is always great. It is one of my definite go-to spots.

My first time visiting this restaurant was 02/22/2019 and a friend recommended I try this steakhouse and I'm glad I listened! Can you say "Ruth Chris, Who?" lol they are a little pricey but well worth it. You do have to pay for parking though, but the area that the restaurant is located in is beautiful.

Food was great, really good steak. Deducted two stars for service. Restaurant was not at all busy. We spent nearly 30 plus minutes for our main course to arrive. It was a lunch meeting with a vendor should have been done by an hour, ended spending whole lot more than we all wanted to.

I went here with some friends the other evening just for dessert and a cocktail because we heard the butter cake was to die for. I actually ordered the bread pudding, while they ordered the butter cake. Both desserts were amazing! I was also under the weather that day, so our server recommended a Hot Toddy with bourbon in it. It's served hot of course, and was very tasty and soothing. The only reason I took away a star is because I think our servers forgot about us. Other than that, I would definitely go back. I'm thinking about that cake now! 😋

We came here for restaurant week. With dinner, drinks, tip and extras, our total was $200. Normally it would have been $400 outside of restaurant week. We got the upgrades and enhancements on our steaks but we should've just gotten the upgraded size... the toppings took away from the flavor of the steak. Service was excellent. Validated parking was only $13 which is good for that part of DC. I'd recommend this place for restaurant week.
